What the DV100 is for

High throughput, every part

The control box is sized for production that does not stop — every part inspected, every shift, rather than sampled batches. Inference stays under 200 ms, so the verdict lands inside the cycle rather than behind it.

Many defect types in one image

One pass over the frame finds every class you have trained, not one check per defect. That is where the larger box earns itself: the more you are looking for in a single image, the more compute the decision takes.

More than one view of the part

Most parts need more than one angle. Cameras trigger together on the same part and their results combine into one verdict, so a part is only accepted when every angle agrees.

Where there is cabinet space

The full-size box is the straightforward choice when the machine has room for it. If it does not, that is what the DV40 is for.

For lighter applications — a single station, fewer classes, a slower cycle — the DV40 runs the same inspection in a smaller box.

What types of defects can Deepvis detect?
Deepvis can detect complex and unpredictable defects that are common in recycled plastic, such as black specks, short shots, overmoulding, contamination, burn marks, and geometry defects. The model is trained on annotated examples of the defect types you care about, and holds up against the material, colour and surface variation that comes with recycled feedstock.
Do I need thousands of images to train the system?
No. Around 120 annotated images is enough to train a model. This is a large reduction compared to traditional systems that require thousands of manually labelled samples. It is however important to note that challenging applications typically perform better, the better the data.
Can Deepvis keep up with fast production speeds?
Yes — with the right GPU hardware, Deepvis can analyze parts in real time down to 0.5-second cycle times, making it suitable for high-speed packaging and manufacturinglines.
How is Deepvis different from traditional vision systems?
